Our history
ROTH & SCHODER was founded by Karl-Otto Schoder and Bernd Roth in 1985. Based in Billigheim-Sulzbach – in Odenwald in the Baden region – our medium-sized, owner-operated company is located in the midst of the German automation scene. The control cabinet manufacturing started in Lohrbach, the home of Karl-Otto Schoder.
History:
1985 Company founding of ROTH & SCHODER by Karl-Otto Schoder together with Bernd Roth in Lohrbach, Development of the control cabinet manufacturing department
1990 Move to the newly built company building in Billigheim-Sulzbach
Lower level – Roth & Schoder GmbH
Upper level – Roth Steuerungstechnik GmbH
1995 Start of training as electronics technician
1997 Expansion of the entire company premises Am Dorfteich 10
2003 Further expansion of the production area and addition of a steel hall as storage area for Roth & Schoder
2008 Addition of a second steel hall to the existing one – storage area enlarged
2016 Takeover of the technical management by Dirk Schoder
2020 Groundbreaking of the ROTH Gruppe at the new location in the industrial park in Billigheim
